Who is irismedical, inc.?
Founded
– imi began in 1965. We
started doing coding for Emergency Room Physicians. Since then we have expanded to include EMS services including
air, ground ambulance, fire services, and hospital ED coding and billing.
Experience
- imi is
the ambulance billing expert. Very
few ambulance billing services have the expertise or the client base we
have, not to mention 35 years EMS experience.
imi
is
currently billing for 17 ambulance services. Compliance/Quality
Assurance – imis’ Compliance
Officer is Robert Gray MD, FACEP. Dr.
Gray oversees all CMS, HIPAA and state compliance requirements and
guidelines, along with quality assurance issues in EMS documentation,
coding and billing for our clients and imi
employees. Education
- imi is
always utilizing EMS continuing education for our employees and clients,
it’s an ever-changing field of medicine.
We do Ingenix, in-house, EMS conventions, education classes on
compliance, documentation, and HIPAA updates and issues, any area that
affects EMS services. Affiliation
